CULTURAL DANCES TAKE CENTRE STAGE AT THE LIMBE FESTIVAL OF ARTS AND CULTURE, FESTAC

The Festival of Arts and Culture was jammed-packed with various traditional dances on April 1 1thand 12th.
Dances from regions like the North West took centre stage, as various traditional groups came and displayed their traditional attires, songs and dance steps. This was cheered by an enthusiastic crowd who cheered the dancers as they performed. Also, this festival was attended by the Government Delegate of Limbe City Council Mr. Andrew Montanga, Lord Mayor Rodanny Mbua, S.D.O and other executives. The various dance groups included the Nyanga women, Mbaya of Donga, Meta Kwem, Bonkintati, Mbum Abi and Awokada. This festival has also given the people of Limbe an opportunity to get to know more about various cultures and it has shown that Cameroon is indeed an African miniature.
