The new Soppo Field Pastor of the Cameroon Baptist Convention, Rev. Dr. Paul Mokake has been inducted. The induction ceremony took place on Sunday, 10 November, 2013 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church Great Soppo, Buea.
While inducting the field pastor, the Director of Evangelism and Missions, Rev Fimba Felix, enjoined Rev. Dr. Mokake to assume full responsibility as the under-shepherd of God’s people. Rev. Dr. Mokoke will administratively be running the Soppo Field of Baptist Churches as well as being the spiritual guide of other pastors and the entire Christian family of churches under the Cameroon Baptist Convention.
Drawing his message from the ‘Book of Colossians’ chapter 4:12-13, the speaker, Rev. Nako Nelson, explained that God gives His assignments to a hearth that has the burden to serve. He called on those who serve in the vineyard of God to emulate the example Apaphras in the Book of Colossians who had strong biblical convictions, prayed fervently and had notable zeal.
Rev. Dr. Paul Mokake is taking over from Rev. Samuel Ndeley who is furthering his studies in theology abroad. Rev. Dr. Mokake is married and is a father of four. He studied theology in the United States of America where he obtained a Masters and a Ph.D. in theology.
