Strange Death Happens in Buea

A young man has been found dead in Mokunda, Buea. The 15 year old whose name we got as Junior Evambe, was found dead hanging from a rope in the late hours of Wednesday December 16, 2015.
The police was alerted and after some investigations, the young man who is believed to have committed suicide was immediately buried. According to most traditions in Cameroon, no funeral is organised for a person who takes his or her own life.

Circumstances surrounding the death of Junior Evambe are still unclear. But according to reports, some neighbours say they saw him ride a motorcycle into the neighbourhood, parked by the road side and went into their compound. One of his visiting friends is said to have raised an alarm in the neighbours that Junior was died.
When neighbours rushed into the house, his lifeless body was found in the living room with a rope round his neck hanging from the roof. His corpse was transported to his father’s compound in Vasingi, Buea, where he was buried.
