2012 University of Buea Graduation- 1st Batch of Medical Doctors Graduate and Fako students excel in Most Disciplines

After six years of hard work in diverse phases, the University of Buea has graduated the 1st batch of medical doctors who were admitted in 2006. Fifty three out of eighty five of them successfully passed through a rigorous training period that involved both theory and practical sessions in hospitals.
Before the graduation ceremony on Saturday 15th December 2012, the medical doctors defended their thesis in front a panel of seasoned national and international medical practitioners. One of those who successfully defended his thesis in front this panel is a native of Fako Division, Nangoh Maewoh Nangoh. The graduating medical doctors took the Physician oath to practise the profession with conscience and dignity.
Though with a comparatively small population, many Fako students who attended the University of Buea also brought joy to their community. They graduated from various degree programmes with distinction. Families and friends joined them back home to celebrate their graduation from the University. More than two thousand students graduated on the day.
